Mekong: LIFE
Emmy Award-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist Vanessa Vân-Ánh Võ has collaborated with Kronos Quartet and Yo-Yo Ma, fusing Vietnamese musical traditions with fresh new structures to create music beyond genre. Joined by fellow virtuosos from Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand, her multimedia production, Mekong: LIFE, explores issues of climate change and natural resource exploitation through stunning sounds and visions of life along the Mekong River.
Adam Fong contributed to the development of Mekong: LIFE as co-composer, and co-lead for Võ’s residency with the High Meadows Environmental Institute at Princeton University. Performing as part of Blood Moon Orchestra, he is featured on electric bass and electronics.
