This 5-part, 5-section piece explores unusual harmonic territory in an “ambient” texture through a scordatura using the 7/4 and 11/8 intervals. Originally inspired by Adam Overton’s “ArtSpa” music/massages, it can be performed by five bassists, one bassist with a pre-recorded accompaniment, or heard entirely through pre-recorded playback.
